ABOUT AMANDA
Pastor Amanda Sharma is an ordained Minister of the Gospel and the founder and President of Amanda Sharma Ministries. She was ordained by Pastor Benny Hinn on December 1, 2018 in Texas.
She was a successful Model and an award-winning Fashion Designer. She modeled for Colgate Toothpaste and many other big brands. She exported her designs to Germany, England and Hong kong. However, she gave up Fashion and Modeling in May 2014 and took the call of God on her life seriously.
She grew up as a Hindu Brahmin. Other than growing up in a Hindu Priest Caste, she also practiced six other religions briefly; including Islam.
When she was eight years old, a friend named Ruth, a Dalit (lowest caste), led her to Jesus.
Although she had accepted Christ; she did not truly understand what had taken place. Therefore, she continued to follow Hinduism and later converted to Islam for three years. Subsequently, followed other religions.
Eventually she came to the Lord Jesus Christ in 2014, and fully surrendered her life to Him and to serve Him wholeheartedly.
After she surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ and was Baptized in October 2014; Lord Jesus visited her in November 2014 to called her into Ministry.
AMANDA'S TESTIMONY
There is just one word that sums up this testimony...CHESED. Mercy and Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ!
"He who is forgiven much, loves much!"
On December 23, 2010; she was involved in a car accident that left her crippled on the left side of her body. Her spine suffered great damage, left shoulder was almost raised to her left ear, hip bone was out of alignment, left arm couldn't go higher than the waist, C5 was burst and was leaking.
Her Supervisor Malcolm Brown at the time, was a member of a Church in Springfield VA. Him and his wife Maria Brown gathered help and support for her through their Pastor/Church.
They served her for many months without ever forcing her to accept the Lord Jesus Christ. This great level of kindness moved her heart toward Christians, and she said to herself, "These Christian people are good people." And became more opened to receiving what they had to say about Jesus Christ.
Toward April - March of 2011; she became suicidal because of constant pain, constant dependance on others and far too many medicines.
Pastor's wife who had been ministering to her for a while, sent her to meet their Care and Counseling Pastor, Pastor Jack. So she wouldn't harm herself.
That was the day everything turned around. He pointed to a picture of a beautiful Man wearing a white robe knocking at a door and said, "Do you know Jesus? He is knocking, He wants to help you, let Him in."
Though she did not understand what Pastor Jack meant; she opened the Bible (Malcom and Maria got her), that night for the first time and started reading the Gospel of Matthew. She found Jesus, He was healing the sick, blind, crippled, deaf and lame. She said in complete astonishment, "WOW! this is Jesus! He can heal me too!."
However, no healing took place. So she resorted to the recommended neck surgery on May 6, 2011. Her surgery went terribly wrong. Two and half inch needle went crooked while they tried to fix leakage from C5. The Doctor said, "Please go to the ER if something really bad happens." Her neck was completely jammed. She couldn't move her neck. And the pain was unbearable.
That night, she said to God, "Whoever You are; today I am putting an end to Your game! I win, You lose! I will not live like this anymore! Goodbye!" And she made a huge cocktail of all her medicines; including percocet, tremadol, neurontin, Ibuprofen 800 and other meds; and tried to commit suicide.
However, the next day, Saturday May 7th, she woke up around 3 PM. When she sat up; she thought she was dead, but her physical condition reminded her she was very much alive.
She said outloud, "This is IMPOSSIBLE!" As she spoke those words; a Man's tender and gentle voice said to her, "This is Jesus."
When she heard those words, she became full of rage toward Jesus. With complete hatred and rage; she hobbled down the stairs, saying "He is neither healing me, nor letting me die!."
She went to the kitchen where her Bible was sitting on the kitchen counter. She wanted to pick up the Bible and tear it and curse at Jesus.
Before her hand touched the Bible, and before a single curse word came out of her mouth against the Lord; Lord Jesus Christ stood in front her in a white robe.
But, she was so full of hatred and rage that she pointed at Jesus and screamed at Him saying, "I KNOW WHO YOU ARE! I HAVE READ ABOUT YOU! YOU MAKE THE LAME WALK! YOU MAKE THE DUMB TALK! YOU MAKE THE BLIND SEE! YOU EVEN RAISE DEAD PEOPLE! EITHER YOU HEAL ME OR KILL ME! I AM DONE WITH MY LIFE!!!"
And, she started to weep bitterly. When she stopped weeping and opened her eyes, the Lord Jesus Christ had left.
And so left all her pain. Her neck was no longer jammed and moved perfectly. Her left shoulder dropped and became straight. Her spine became straight. Her left arm went all the way up. Her hip came into alignment. Within seconds, she became so whole as though she never had an accident.
She was scared out of her mind and speechless. She went and sat in the Living Room, frozen like a rock and trying to make sense of what had just happened. She was in an utter shock for hours.
That day she quit all her medicines and had no withdrawal symptoms.
Next day was Sunday May 8th, she wore a pretty dress and her heels for the first time in months, and went leaping and bouncing in the hallway of that huge church. Pastor's wife and others who had been helping her, saw and were shocked as though they saw a ghost.
Pastor's wife came running to her and asked, "what happened?"
She answered, "Jesus came yesterday and He healed me." Pastor's wife looked perplexed and said, "but Jesus doesn't do that anymore. We do not know why He did that for you. Will you give your testimony in our Faith Builders Group?'
She obeyed the Pastor's wife and gave her testimony of great mercy that the Lord Jesus showed her. Many believed Jesus still heals and were strengthened in their faith!
She got healed in May 2011, but fully surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ in May 2014.
Because, after she got healed, she stopped reading the Bible and stopped going to that Church, and started following her Fashion Business again. But, her world came crashing down after she did a major fashion show on April 25, 2014 in Chantilly, Virginia. She lost all her money.
on May 2, 2014; she knelt before the Cross that hung over the fireplace in her Living-room, lifted her hands and said, "Here is my white flag. Lord Jesus, I surrender to You fully. I will not chase after fashion business or other religions. Please accept me and help me! I will not run anymore! Please forgive me!"
Within 20 minutes of saying that; a friend who was a longstanding member of McLean Presbyterian Church called her completely out of the blue. She told him about her circumstances and about her full surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ. Within just a few minutes he gathered about 7-8 men and women on a conference call and they all started to pray for her. Also, in just a couple of months they helped her get out of the mess she was in.
After she surrendered to Jesus Christ completely and gave up all other religions; Lord started restoring her to Himself.
She said to the Lord, "Lord, I only know You as my Healer, other than that, I don't know You. Please teach me about You."
From that day in July, the Lord started teaching her the Bible from Genesis Chapter 1 at all odd hours of the night. He would walk her up at one or two AM and teach her Bible until she had to get her little boy up and ready for Daycare, and she had to leave for work. She never felt tired even though she was getting only 2-3 hours sleep at night, She had all the energy in the world to work full time and be a full time single Mom. Lord Jesus finished teaching her the Bible to the last page of Revelation within 3 months, from July 2014-October 2014.
While the Lord taught her Isaiah 53, she could not stop weeping bitterly. Something pierced her heart and turned her soul inside and out. She saw Jesus Christ as her Savior for the first time! And, she saw the love of Jesus Christ for herself in a way that was greater than the healing she received, She saw what He had to suffer for her sins. That's the day she received Jesus Christ as her Savior and her Lord and her ONLY God.
He also Baptized her in the Spirit and gave her the gift of Tongues (Aramaic language, confirmed by a woman who had studied and speaks old Aramaic) while she sat in her bed reading the Book of Acts, and said, "Lord, will You please Baptize me in the Spirit?"
He also taught her to pray when she said, "Lord I don't know how to pray. Please teach me how to pray."
She then decided to get Baptized on October 18, 2014. Pastor Chris Mogensen Baptized her in Algonkian River.
Lord Jesus Christ appeared to her again in November 2014, to call her into the Ministry. When the Lord was leaving, she cried out saying, "Lord take me with You! I don't want to be here!." He replied, "Your work here is not done yet" and left.

Her life-verse is; Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who lives, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
Her favorite song is; "When I survey the Wondrous Cross."
"Jesus Christ's mercies are higher than the highest sky. And, His love is deeper than the deepest Ocean. May you accept Him as your Savior, Lord and God...and spend each day with Him on this earth and spend eternity in His loving Presence." Amen.
